Extra info for 2026

  • Once we get outside, practice locations will depend on weather. We normally use Cottonwood diamonds #1-3, as well as the SSC grass and turf fields when available. We may also use the batting cages at Tatley, Haaland, SSC, or Municipal when one of our other teams has a home game there.

  • We also practice indoors at BHS (Knaak gym, usually) and occasionally at the golf dome. If we’re inside, we’re sharing space with other sports, so practice times will vary.

  • Individual helmets are a mandatory purchase for varsity. They can be purchased through the team or booster club for $40 and should last throughout high school. JV players also have the option to buy their own helmet from us if they want, but it is not mandatory. Each JV team will also have a team set of helmets to use instead. Please do not wear other non-matching helmets from other teams. We wear the All-Star S7 in a maroon matte finish (pictured below), and we provide custom Demon logo decals for the front.

  • You do not have to purchase your own baseball pants. We have enough for everyone. However, if you would rather buy your own, any brand of standard solid white pants (no stripes) will match just fine for JV.

  • Each player will be expected to pay a $100 Booster Club fee. This covers their hat, undershirt, belt, socks, snacks and food for roadtrips, among other things, such as equipment, team bats, etc. This fee is separate from the activity fee charged by BPS and can be paid directly to the BHS Baseball Booster club. Note: If you raise $200+ via certain fundraisers, that will also meet this booster fee obligation. See the booster club reps for more information on that.
